Haptic Simulations

Describes a collection of research work I presented at the Eurohaptics conference, London in 2016. The workshop session was titled 10 Years in Haptics: Nasendoscopy, Surgical Tissue, and Gravity Games.

Haptic Gravity Game

The Haptic Gravity Game was done in collaboration with Dr Brett Wilkinson, Flinders University of South Australia. Using haptics (precise force feedback) users are able to learn the difference between “weight” and “mass (via inertia)” by lifting familiar objects in simulations of gravity on different planets (Earth, Mars, Jupiter, (and the moon)).
